Happy Little Elf Look

If you're attending a Christmas party this season, how about dressing as a classic Christmas elf? Our happy little elf look is the perfect mix of festive and classic cute and will be sure to have heads turning all the party long!

You can add in the extras like contact lenses and falsies, or eliminate them for a more go-to Christmas look - it really is that versatile!

To start, we are sliding in these piercing blue contacts from Pinky Paradise. These are totally optional but they bring a little extra magic to the look.

We are then applying our base - this should be nice and light to give you a porcelain look. We are using the Make Up For Ever HD Foundation with our Bella&Bear The Lynx Kabuki Brush. Buff the foundation onto the face in circles for the ultimate flawless look.

To cover any dark cirlces or blemishes, we are using Benefit Fake Up Concealer and our Bella&Bear The Ocelot Large conclealer brush as we want to look as 'perfect' as possible!

We are then applying a light dusting of the  ELF HD powder in 'translucent' over our entire face with our Bella&Bear The Tiger large powder brush to set our makeup and give it a delicate matte finish.

To make a start on our eyes we are applying some Benefit Stay don't Stray primer over the eyelid - patting it in with our ring finer (as this is the most gentle finger). This will help to keep our eye makeup in place longer and will make the colors more vibrant.

As our base we are using our Bella&Bear Iromote brush to pat a matte cream eyeshadow all over the lid where we just placed the primer.

Follow this by taking the Bella&Bear Leopard Cat Brush and a matte red shadow - we are using one from the BH Cosmetics take me to Brazil palette - and using a windscreen wiper motion, brush it through the crease of the eye.

Then use the tip of the brush to create a wing on the outer edge of the eye and carry the line on down on the outer third of your lower lashline.

To give the eyes more depth we are using our Bella&Bear Black Footed Cat brush to apply a maroon shimmer shadow deeper into the crease of the eye. We are using the shade 'Aphrodite' from the  BH Cosmetics Galaxy Chic palette. Use the winged end of the brush to keep the shape of the shadow.

We want the look to be soft, yet vibrant so we are taking our Bella&Bear pampas cat brush and blending the shadows together and slightly upward toward the brow bone. This will make any lines less harsh and give a more elegant finish.

To add some festive sparkle, we are using our Bella&Bear Iromote brush to pat some golden shimmer shadow - we are using shade 'Sun' from the same BH Cosmetics Galaxy Chic palette - all over the eyelid to meet the red shadow in the create.

We want to give the eye some extra definition and shape so we are picking up our Bella&Bear Caracal eyeliner brush and some black liquid liner and drawing a thin winged line across the top lashline. Using this brush will give you contorl over the speed of application and the size of the line.

After applying a swipe of Too Faced Better than Sex mascara to the top and bottom lashes we are adding some Ardell Demi Wispies lashes. We do this with our Bella&Bear slanted tweezers to ensure the lashes are applied as close to the lashline as possible for a natural finish.

We then took our Bella&Bear Caracal brush to draw on a few lower lashes.

Now we are opening the eye area by filling in the brows. A good, defined brow can bring structure to the face. We are using the spoolie end of our Bella&Bear Iberian Lynx brow brush to brush the brows into the desired shape.

We are then using the Angled brush end with some Freedom makeup brow pomade to fill in the brows and define them. We are following this with a final brush through with the spoolie to disperse the product evenly.

To start work on the lips we are blocking out the top lip with some of the same foundation and our Bella&Bear Ocelot large concealer brush and we are also blocking out the two corners of the bottom lip.

We are then taking a nude lip pencil and filling in the blank space on the bottom lip. This will give us a cute, adorable appearance! We are applying a pink gloss over the top of this to finish the lips. We used the Essence liquid lipstick in 'Beauty Secert'

Lets get extra cute! Using the Bella&Bear Cheetah duo fiber powder brush we are applying a small circle of NYX Rose Garden blush to the apple of our cheeks for that north pole glow!

Finally - don't forget your elf attire! No Elf would be complete without their very own jingle bell hat!
